I won't sign this petition because CHANGE.ORG refuses to vet any of its petitions, and so anyone may claim anything, and ask people to sign in favor of it, even if it's not true, and signing just makes the signers look foolish.
My first experience with a bogus CHANGE.ORG petition was when the dogs'-rights-trump-humans' nutjobs just up and lied about 2012's "Dutch the Dog" controversy...

...and when I asked CHANGE.ORG to please bother to at least determine if the person mounting the petition is telling the basic truth, it wrote back and told me that that was not its job; that anyone could mount a petition and it was up to those reading it to determine if it's true.

So, one never knows if any part of what's written in a CHANGE .ORG petition is is true. CHANGE.ORG cannot be trusted, and so its petitions -- at least if being considered by people who think like me -- end-up being less successful than it would like.
I'm not saying that what's happened to Welden Angelos is right; or that Obama shouldn't commute the rest of his sentence. But I, for one, will convey that I believe that by some other means.
